Social Thinking Training & Speakers' Collaborative

About the Social Thinking Training & Speaker's Collaborative

New! The Social Thinking Training & Speakers' Collaborative

From behaviorally challenged students in New Jersey, to teens and adults in Hong Kong, the Social Thinking treatment approach is the basis for programs helping individuals with social and communication challenges around the country and the world. More than 10,000 professionals and parents have participated in Social Thinking workshops to learn practical methods for helping high-functioning individuals with autism spectrum disorders, Asperger's, ADHD, nonverbal learning disorders and related, often undiagnosed, conditions that affect social learning. And the demand for services in only growing!

To meet this demand, Michelle Garcia Winner, who started this treatment method in the mid-1990s, and her colleagues Stephanie Madrigal and Pamela Crooke, enlisted a group of  professionals trained in and actively practicing Social Thinking to join them as Social Thinking training specialists. And the Social Thinking Training & Speakers' Collaborative was born!

Each member of the Collaborative is a dynamic, engaging professional who can convey information in ways that will inspire and educate both parents and professionals. Each Collaborative member has completed training led by Winner herself, has extensive hands-on knowledge of Social Thinking concepts, manages a clinical caseload and has worked directly with school administrative systems.

More Programs, More Communities!

Each speaker can provide customized, on-site training to your staff or group, offer consultations on developing Social Thinking programs school or district wide, or come to your area and present general education workshops on topics related to Social Thinking. Most courses offered by Collaborative members are based on the highly popular workshops created and given by Winner herself. These full day or two-day offerings continue to evolve, always incorporating the most current research. Click on the button below to inquire about availability for your group.
