CEUs for Psychologists, IMPORTANT UPDATE
CEUs for Psychologists Rescinded
We need to alert psychologists in our community that we can no longer offer CEUs for their profession. It has been brought to our attention that Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES), the organization we work with to provide continuing education credits, is no longer able to provide approved credits for psychologists. After 19 years of being an approved APA sponsor the current application for renewal was denied. We have heard that many other previously approved APA sponsors have also had their renewals denied. We can only surmise that some change in the APA method has occurred and we, along with other organizations, are currently unable to provide this service to psychologists. We were understandably quite discouraged to hear this. However, this change only applies to our upcoming conferences; CEUs are being honored for all those who have received APA CEUs previously for our conferences.
